Google is the word of the decade

The American Dialect Society (ADS) has chosen the verb “Google” as the word of the decade in its January 8th posting. “Tweet” took 2009’s honors.

The Sullivan Library has electronic access to “The Google Story” written by David Vise in 2005. Simply go to our online catalog and put in google story and click search. Then click on the last hyperlink in the record, “HTTP: An electronic book accessible…” to be connected to the ebrary database.

Alternatively, if you are logged in from off-campus, first login to the databases, choose ebrary, and then type google story into the “simple search” box.

Feel free to poke around in ebrary to see what other texts it has (for example, you might want to find a book for Adobe Photoshop CS).
