New Books: Encyclopedia of Journalism

The Encyclopedia of Journalism is a six volume set which covers print, broadcast, and Internet journalism. The first four volumes span topics such as editing, advertising, media hoaxes, and bias, as well as more recent topics such as blogging, chat rooms, and podcasting. The last two volumes cover awards and prizes, along with primary documents such as codes of ethics, media and the law, and future changes for journalism education (Amazon).

This six volume set is housed in our Reference section, which means that it can be used within the library only — so you always know it will be on the shelves if you need to browse it for one of your upcoming papers!

The call number for this item is 070.403 EN19. Simply enter the Huston room and take an immediate right. The books lining this right wall compromise the reference section; the 70s are near the spacious window.
