10 Simple Google Tricks

Did you know that Google can…

a) let you limit your searches to one particular site? (i.e. www.cnn.com, www.angelfire.com)

b) help fix your spelling mistakes with its “Did You Mean…?” feature

c) search for specific document types (i.e. only return results which are PDFs)

d) search within numerical ranges (i.e. when you are looking for something in the 1950s)

To access the Google Apps book if you are affliated with Dominican College, first log-in to our databases. Then choose “ebrary”, one of the databases The Sullivan Library subscribes to. In the upper left where it says Simple Search, type in: Google apps for dummies.
