Subject Guide Spotlight: Education

The librarians at The Sullivan Library have prepared a subject guide for Education students. Subject guides are useful for “one stop shopping”, so that Dominican College users can get a broader sense of the resources that The Sullivan Library has to offer in a particular field, both physically and electronically. Dominican College offers subject guides in many different fields. A sampling of Education resources has been offered below.

Useful Education databases (primarily for journal articles):

EBSCOhost (ERIC, Professional Development Collection, MAS Ultra – School Edition, and Primary Search)
ProQuest (ProQuest Education Journals, ProQuest Teacher Journals)

This internet-based journals are freely available (“open access”) to anyone.

Although it is not listed in the subject guides, there is also the Internet Resources on the Web page. This page lists education websites which have been approved by librarians at The Sullivan Library.
