A new document (.doc) has been placed on the Occupational Therapy subject guide. You can download this item to your computer for future reference.
This document goes over the physical and electronic resources that The Sullivan Library has to offer the OT student, including a link to the library catalog for searching for books, e-books, and print journals. The most notable feature is the detailed instructions for EBSCOhost’s medical databases for journal articles. It also includes a summary for Rehabilitation Reference Center if you have clinical work. Finally, it explains how to search to see if we own a particular journal article in electronic format, and how to initiate a request to obtain the article if we do not.
You can access the document for download here.
Also, don’t forget that we have access to the American Journal of Occupational Therapy from 2004 to present in Gale’s Health Reference Center Academic database! (Dominican College login required).
To access AJOT, do the following steps after logging in:
1. Select Gale
2. Select Health Reference Center Academic
3. Select Browse Publications (list of options in the orange row)
4. Type in AJOT (do not type in American Journal of Occupational Therapy, as in Gale the journal’s name starts with AJOT: The American Journal…)
