You can now register for the following two workshops:
Evaluating Resources: Journals & Magazines Thursday, September 23 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM
This workshop will go over the differences between journals (peer-reviewed/scholarly, trade, industry), popular magazines, and newspapers. You will understand the purpose of each, who typically writes the articles within, the audiences who read them, and most importantly, when to use each type – and when to not!
Educating the Patient and You: Rehabilitation Reference Center Friday, September 24 from 5:45 to 6:45 PM
The Rehabilitation Reference Center has many useful tools, including a “diseases and conditions” area (with causes, risk factors, assessments, plans of care, and desired outcomes), patient education handouts in both English and Spanish, extensive exercise images, and practice resources. Open to all students, faculty and staff, but especially useful to those in the following areas: OT, PT, AT, Nursing.
