Weekly Tips & Tricks – Finding Sullivan Library full-text articles using Google Scholar

weekly-tips-and-tricks

Welcome back to another edition of Weekly Tips and Tricks.

This week we will go over how to access Sullivan Library full-text articles off campus when searching on Google Scholar.

First, you want to go to the Google Scholar homepage and click on the settings tab in the top right corner.

On the settings page, select the “Library links” link on the left hand side of the page.

A library search box will appear on the screen.  Dominican College should appear twice as “FULLTEXT@DOMINICAN” and “DOMINICAN COLLEGE – ProQuest Fulltext”.  Check off both boxes and click save.  If those do not appear, simply type in Dominican College into the search box.

Now when you search for an article you should see “FULLTEXT@DOMINICANCOLLEGE”to the right of the article if we have in the library or on our database.

As long as your browser’s cookies is turned on and not in incognito mode, the settings will be saved so you will not have to keep searching for Dominican College.
